Position Overview

E3/Sentinel is seeking a Junior Analyst to provide administrative support for the Regional Protective Security Officer (PSO) Program in direct support of Contracting Officer’s Representatives (CORs), PSO Program Manager (PSOPM), the Risk Management Branch (RMB) and other Regional operations. All work will be performed in the headquarters located in New York City. The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct support for the PSO Program, in accordance with contract and FPS policies and procedures. The employees will be expected to receive work assignments from the Regional CORs, PSOPM, and other Regional supervisory/management-level officials (generally referred to as Task Managers).

Responsibilities

  • The work involves assisting the COR with a plethora of requirements in support of the Protective Security Officer (PSO) Program, such as but not limited to:
  • requirements processing (developing cost estimates, preparing requisitions, communicating with Federal customers),
  • supporting contract monitoring and oversight functions (tracking/compiling: data, performed hours, prohibited items, etc.),
  • assisting with administrative audits,  and COR Management Tool (CMT) data entry (as required by the position).

Required Qualifications

  • Possess the knowledge and/or ability to review and comprehend specifications and related aspects of contract requirements.
  • Possess the knowledge and/or ability to gather, assemble, analyze basic facts, draws conclusions and plan or propose viable solutions to issues.
  • Must possess superior knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point (or possess the ability to quickly learn the applications).
  • Use of Excel spreadsheets are central to PSO Program support. 
  • Must be able to obtain a DHS suitability

Preferred Qualifications

Desired Education: Associates Degree
Desired Experience: 3 years
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma/Tech Training; 2 years

Expertise with MS Office suite of products, especially MS Word and MS Excel, but also PowerPoint
