    Position Overview

    The person in this position will support and assist the US Mint by administering the records management program by working with program managers and the Records Officer to identify record and non-record materials; establish official file stations, prepare file plans; inventory records; apply schedules or recommend new schedule items; and apply disposition authorities or recommend changes in those authorities for all records regardless of media or format.  The US Mint falls under the umbrella of the Department of Treasury.   



    • Provide recommendations on software and hardware systems to streamline and improve the maintenance of records.
    • Perform management systems analysis to improve record keeping systems and efficiency.
    • Develop guidance and training materials to facilitate an efficient, electronic records management system.

    Required Qualifications

    • Requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
    • Serve as a technical expert in the storage, manipulation and extraction of records/information.
