    Position Overview

    This position will support building out the CPIC strategy for the Census Bureau. Our clients are open to ideas and seek expertise for laying out this strategy and, ultimately, implementing this for the Bureau. This is a great opportunity to grow your CPIC expertise and help to implement real change.

    The Census Bureau is located directly off the Metro line and also has free parking. It is a reverse commute (against traffic) for most people living in VA and DC and is an easy commute from many places in MD.


    E3 is looking for a Management Consultant to support an opportunity at the Census Bureau.

    Job duties to include but not limited to:

    • Assisting with client meetings and requirements sessions
    • Developing CPIC processes, procedures, and templates
    • Researching and responding to questions/data calls related to CPIC and the associated artifacts
    • Training federal staff on CPIC processes
    • Providing analysis on Exhibit 300 and non-major IT investment documentation
    • Developing ways to improve overall investment performance

    Required Qualifications


    • 4+ years of management consulting experience
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience interfacing with clients
    • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with OMB Circular A-11 and other CPIC legislation
    • Experience developing dashboard content
