    Position Overview

    E3 is seeking an Electronic Archive Records Management System (EARMS) Systems Integration Tester / Manager to provide Tier 2 help desk support for a recent implementation of an electronic records management system with a client within the Department of Defense. This individual shall provide library science, records management support, and information management support, including organizing and searching for information. Tasks include:



    • Support indexing, categorization, and preservation of metadata in accordance with laws, policies, and regulations.
    • Support using automated mechanisms to separate official electronic records from redundant, obsolete, e-trash, duplicates, and multiple versions in accordance with Federal laws, regulations, and DOD policies.
    • Develop search plans in response to FOIA requests, internal investigations, legal holds, and agency inquiries.
    • Index, classify, and migrate information to ensure electronic records are properly preserved.
    • Create file plans, retention schedules, and records indexes. (Deliverable)
    • Develop file or classification structures and assist with establishing and maintaining automated business rules for unstructured electronic information ( e.g. file shares on shared drives and
    • SharePoint sites).
    • Organize legacy information.
    • Conduct analysis and produce statistics on the maintenance

    Required Qualifications

    • Clearance:  SECRET
    • Bachelor degree in a related technology field required. 
    • Experience/Familiarity with Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Networking fundamentals, and Networked storage
    • Ability to translate official policies into technical solutions
    • IAT Tier I certification in one of the following:
      • COMP TIA Security +
      • Global Info Assurance Certification-Security Essentials (GSEC) or
      • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or
      • Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) or
      • Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)


    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3+ years of specific experience with electronic records management systems.
    • Records/information governance knowledge or experience
    • Help Desk/Technical problem solving experience
    • Customer service skills
    • Experience in administrating ZL Archive or other records management software
    • Completed course work to be able to obtain the certification and sit the exam within 60 days of hiring may be an option - per client approval
