    Position Overview

    E3/Sentinel is looking for a Technical Program Analyst to support our client in Arlington, VA.  This position provides Scientific, Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support to Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) program managers to develop strategic and technical plans, and conduct technical analyses and assessments; analyze technologies and research ideas for the formulation of new programs; support the assessment of proposals, identify and translate user requirements, conduct benefit analyses of technologies, and identify the commercial utility of new products. The candidate will identify, assess, prioritize, and offer recommendations on proposed and emerging technologies to program manager and performers. This job does not entail direct laboratory experimental research, focus here is on technical SME support. Other duties include:

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Work in a multi-disciplinary team environment as well as take direction and work independently.
    • Must demonstrate exceptional professionalism, organizational skills and be able to multi –task effectively. 
    • Interact with government customers at all levels of authority and technical acuity.
    • Technical analyses & evaluation,
    • Plan, direct, and coordinate project tasks to ensure that technical program goals are accomplished.
    • Interface, propose ideas and solutions to senior government executives in response to emerging issues and pain points

    Required Qualifications

    • BS/MS in engineering, math of physics
    • Previous work military system operators and mission planners specifically focused on airborne operations, developing test plans and coordinating with military test ranges
    • Understanding of command and control requirements for coordinating across distributed operations
    • Technical knowledge of electronic warfare and/or radar systems. 
    • Require some travel within the United States.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate technical information with proficient oral and writing skills.
    • Due to the fast-paced environment, individuals must have dedicated work ethic; be flexible; and show initiative, creativity, and innovation to both develop new research concepts and respond to challenges that arise on the job.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • PhD is desired
    • Interfacing with intelligence agencies is desired. 
    • New DARPA program development with experience in building presentations, scheduling technical meetings, interfacing with contract and government activities and reviewing technical documentation is highly desired.
