    Position Overview

    E3 Federal Solutions seeks an experienced Administrative Support 1 candidate to join the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Acquisitions and Sustainment OUSD(A&S) Team. The Administrative Support I candidate will provide expert level administrative support for senior executives and must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications. The candidate should have general knowledge and experience in office management. It is also essential that the candidate have the ability to provide administrative support for meetings, correspondence, and gathering background information to support senior officials' attendance at meetings.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative assistance in support of the mission of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense 
    • Conduct proper security procedures to ensure office safety meets requirements set forth by the Department of Defense
    • Regulate office standards for records and files to ensure compliance
    • Created and maintain database of office policies for supervisory reference
    • Work closely with office leadership to keep track of agency task and events
    • Draft and edit agency and interagency correspondence that, upon approval, are sent to entities such as the Office of the Secretary of Defense Intelligence and members of Congress
    • Receive incoming inquiries from clients, including government and military officials, and direct them to the appropriate personnel

     

    Required Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of general experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience performing research and analysis
    • Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis of large volumes of sensitive personnel data
    • Demonstrated proficiency in analytic methodology
    • Ability to use DoD travel, correspondence, workflow and other administrative tools
    • DoD TS/SCI required

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Military Experience
    • 4 years of direct administrative support experience and a Headquarters or Executive level DoD office, two years of which supporting high level military or civilian officials
    • Familiarity with Department of Defense organizations and missions
    • Superior oral and written communication skills
    • Experience with OUSD(AT&L)
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
