    Position Overview

    E3 Federal Solutions, LLC seeks a Contract Specialist to join our growing team in support of our federal government client - Department of Justice - United States Marshals Service (USMS) - Office of Contract Security. This position is located in Crystal City VA, working on the government client site.

     

    Responsibilities

    This position performs the following regular work responsibilities:

     

    • Review contracting or procurement actions to determine that proper specifications/purchase descriptions are included in solicitation documents, evaluating bids or proposals for compliance with specifications/purchase descriptions and applicable clauses.
    • Lead the solicitation and prepare analysis of firm-fixed price, labor-hour, time-and-materials or similar contracts and evaluation of contractor, bids and vendor proposals in the procurement of complex supplies, equipment and services.
    • Assist Government in administering contracts, planning/conducting contract price/cost analyses of a variety of pre and post award procurement actions to determine cost effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Work with a program office and subject matter experts to resolve minor issues.
    • Prepare documents such as market research and other FAR determinations.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years of experience
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Strong knowledge of the FAR
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
    • Superior time management, organization and prioritization skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills

    Preferred: 

    • Knowledge of the Justice Acquisition Regulation (JAR)
