    Responsibilities

    Due to significant growth, E3 Federal Solutions seeks a Director, Defense Market sector to serve as a growth engine while ensuring delivery excellence to clients from agencies including, but not limited to, the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and other Defense Agencies. In this role, the Director will be responsible for division growth and strategy, client delivery, staff management, leadership.

     

    Develop and execute, an aggressive business development/marketing campaign across the assigned market segment to grow business through new opportunities and expand business within current programs.

    • Develop strategic plans to achieve established division/portfolio goals; and improve performance in the marketplace.
    • Manage a portfolio of existing task orders/programs while building domain expertise and client intimacy. 
    • In collaboration with programmatic subject matter experts, develop repeatable solution-based program management approaches. 
    • Develop, coach, and retain high-performance teams, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility, span of control, and performance.
    • Manage existing teaming partnerships (prime and subcontractor) and develop future teaming partnerships.
    • Monitor cost, schedule, and performance.

    Qualifications

    •  Bachelor’s Degree.
    • 15 years’ experience; 7 of those years developing business through new opportunity identification and providing leadership to program managers, teams, and subcontractors.
    • Experience managing $20M+/year P&L from multiple programs.
    • Experience managing large, strategic IDIQ/GWAC programs.
    • Experience supporting requests for proposals (RFP) in fast paced environment.
    • Strong understanding and relationships throughout OSD and other Defense Agencies.
    • Active DoD security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree.
    • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
    • Awareness of key competitors in the market segment contractor space to support business development and build competitive discriminators.
    • Experience delivering growth in the full & open marketplace (non-set asides).
    • Active high-level DoD security clearance.
