    Responsibilities

    You will be empowered to: 

     

    • Provide cost/price analysis support with comprehensive knowledge of the full scope of laws, regulations, and policies that affect both the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and the cost/price analysis of proposals submitted for all pre-award contracting activities up to an including contract award. 
    • Perform price/cost analysis on the various elements of major contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the significant direct and indirect cost elements. 
    • Assist in the development of and/or make recommendations for the price/cost objectives to be used in negotiations. 
    • Provide a forecast of price trends, economic factors and efficiencies in production for future accounting periods using analytical techniques such as random sampling, cost models, learning curves, and parametric cost models. 
    • Coordinate and integrate into a comprehensive pricing report the various technical evaluations of cost elements. 
    • Provide group training and hands on training/support to contract specialists for cost/price analysis requirements.
    • Develop and recommends change to directives within the framework of policies and established procedures.

     

     

    Required Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree

    • Active TS/SCI clearance 
    • 10+ years’ experience in cost analysis, to include experience conducting cost realism analysis on all types of contracts.
    • Experience supporting cost analysis during source selections. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR),
    • Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS) and contract administration.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Active TS/SCI with current polygraph
    • Knowledge of IC acquisition policy 
    • Active affiliation with acquisition related industry groups
