    Position Overview

    E3 Federal Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Sr. Technical Expert in Arlington, VA to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The ideal candidate will have eight (8) years’ relevant technology transition experience and a solid understanding of industry technology transition best practices.  Specific tasks include:

    Responsibilities

     

    • Support the overall application process for the RTT, TIPS, DAC, FCT, DPSI and Technology Transfer programs from the Systems Commands Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Program Executive Officers (PEOs)
    • Provide technical, business and programmatic expertise to assist the Government in the assessment of technology transition proposals
    • Identify, consider, and assess technologies for maturity, cost, and supportability

    Required Qualifications

     

    • Secret clearance
    • Either a Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline and 5 years relevant experience or a Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and 8 years relevant experience
    • SPRDE Level III (or to be obtained within 12 months)
    • Excellent skills in analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and assess technologies for maturity, cost, and supportability
    • Should have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
    • Understanding of DoD and DoN Technology Transition Venues
    • Understanding of HQMC, OPNAV, Fleet and Force Organizations
    • Working knowledge of government and industry technology transition best practices
    • Ability to develop and assess ROI and NPV calculations
