    Position Overview

    E3 has an exciting opportunity for an Marketing and Strategic Communications Specialist to join our existing team supporting the General Services Administration’s (GSA) FEDSIM Program Management Office. This position will provide operational research and analysis, strategic marketing, branding, stakeholder outreach, press release, and communication support, website management, and process improvement support to a government client organization that functions similarly to a commercial business. The position will work closely with the E3 program manager and senior client program office officials to monitor market trends of federal acquisition create strategic communications, write sharp marketing outreach and success articles for the organization.

    Responsibilities

    E3 is seeking individuals that are energetic, forward thinking, with excellent communication skills, ability to be productive with minimal direction, and strong creativity and writing skills.

    Requirements

    • Serve as part of the creative team and focus on developing the FEDSIM brand (a fee for service, assisted acquisition center for the Federal Government) Work products will include; Website, tag lines, social media management, marketing slicks, marketing videos
    • Lead strategic communication efforts for GSA FEDSIM. Activities include; Speaking Engagements Coordination, Blog Writer, Editor, TV/Radio/Print, Press Announcements Writer, Editorial Writer, Newsletter development (Industry and Government), Talking Points Writer, Messaging Expert, Media Relations, Public Relations Coordinator
    • Proactively recommend; improvements to process, ideas for increased market share, improved outreach 
    • Support Outreach efforts by supporting industry outreach events, trade shows, and work with creative team to create industry show materials
    • Research GSA FEDSIM, actively support selling the brand and differentiators
    • Increase FEDSIM’s presence in the Federal marketplace

     

    Required Qualifications

    • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in related fields such as; Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism
    • 5 – 10 years of communications, marketing, or branding experience.
    • Clearable (able to pass both a criminal background check and credit check).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to deliver a Creative Writing Style
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
