With hundreds of people supporting CBP, FPS, FBI, US Marshals and other Law Enforcement organizations across the country, the Border Security and Law Enforcement Division stands apart from most Federal Contractors.  Whether it be a Facility Specialist in the Sonoran Desert, a Financial Controls Analyst in California or an Acquisition Specialist in Washington, DC we are 100% mission focused providing the highly specific, targeted support our clients demand.

 

 

E3 Federal Solution seeks an experienced Deputy Program Manager to join the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) account within the Border Security & Law Enforcement Division.  The Deputy Program Manager will bring a proven track record of successfully managing tasks/projects; be motivated, organized, and excellent communicator with senior level clients.  The Deputy Program Manager will focus on a full range of activities to include, but not limited to, managing staff, administrative aspects of the contract, reporting, briefing clients on two large nation-wide contracts.  The Deputy Program Manager will:

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing client, subcontractor and employee relationships as it relates to a large CONUS team
  • Assist in managing the two large nation-wide contracts for CBP to include monitoring contract milestones and ensuring they are met
  • Execute and monitor analytical reports tracking various aspects of contract “health,” and report out to the E3 Program Managers and E3 CBP Account Manager
  • Participate in corporate business development activities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of experience, with at least 2 years managing tasks and projects
  • Ability to obtain a CBP BI
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing contracts, employees, stakeholder engagement, and developing various analytical reports (Gap Analysis, P/L, etc.) for stakeholders

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification
  • Knowledge and experience with Government procurement processes
  • Advanced, adaptive writing skills with a strong orientation towards clarity, completeness, and compliance
  • Understanding and experience with the principles of configuration management and document control
  • The capacity to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give and receive candid feedback in an open, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to independently resolve issues, and the disposition to promptly escalate larger issues
  • Experience operating in fast-paced environment
