Responsibilities

We are seeking a Cost and Price Analyst to provide support to our client in assisting senior level personnel, middle management and junior personnel with providing innovative business strategies, agile procurement solutions, and developing and implementing the agency procurement policy/processes.  Specific areas of focus include:

  • Provides cost/price analysis support with comprehensive knowledge of the full scope of laws, regulations, and policies that affect both the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) and the cost/price analysis of proposals submitted for all pre-award contracting activities up to an including contract award.
  • Performs price/cost analysis on the various elements of major contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the significant direct and indirect cost elements.
  • Performs price/cost analysis on the various elements of major contractor proposals, reviewing in detail the significant direct and indirect cost elements.
  • Assists in the development of and/or make recommendations for the price/cost objectives to be used in negotiations.
  • Provides a forecast of price trends, economic factors and efficiencies in production for future accounting periods using analytical techniques such as random sampling, cost models, learning curves, and parametric cost models.
  • Requests, coordinates and integrates into a comprehensive pricing report the various technical evaluations of cost elements.
  • Provides group training and hands on training/support to contract specialists for cost/price analysis requirements.
  • Develops and recommends change to directives within the framework of policies and established procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities within a team Excellent oral and verbal communication skills. Expertise with Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • TS/SCI clearance active in the last two years
  • 10+ years’ experience
