Responsibilities

PMO Support Analyst will provide the following expertise, in-depth knowledge, and capabilities to support DHS FSM Joint Program Management Office (PMO) stand up and components with various related projects:

  • Support the PMO Organization and Strategy
  • Develop PMO documentation to include Program Management Plans, Quality Control Plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Standard Operating Procedures, Operational Requirements Documents (ORDs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Acquisition Plans (APs), and Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs); work involves independently developing draft documentation and coordinating amongst stakeholders to reach final submissions
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to support document development or project status
  • Draft, edit and/or review documents on process, policy, and procedure
  • Gather information for and develop procedural or position papers, talking points, reports, white papers, recommendations, issues papers, briefings, discussion documents, statements for the record, etc. that may be used by the Government to respond to requests from GAO, Congressional Budget Office, Congress, and other requesting organizations

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years professional work experience in relevant field is required
  • PMP ® Certified is required
  • Must possess proven experience developing and supporting a PMO from standup
  • Must possess proven experience developing and maintaining working relationships with senior level officials and technical experts
  • Experience with program management of Enterprise IT System implementations
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, specifically: Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all team members
  • Ability to work independently and take direction from supervisor
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, analytical environment
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability clearance
