We are interviewing for a Senior DoD Budget Financial Analyst opportunity to serve as the lead execution analyst on our resource management team to support our Senior DoD client. The ideal candidate for this position should have management experience and 8 plus years of onsite DoD experience developing and executing full spectrum POM and PPBE budget activities.; Develop strategies for presenting the budget for DoD programs and provide organization leadership with fully developed fiscal budgets for execution against appropriations Analyze the potential effects of budgetary actions on program viability and attainment of program objectives. Draft formulation, justification, and execution of the budget; Track commitments, obligations, and outlays in relation to cash flow.  Assist in the formulation and coordination of responses as they relate to internal budget requests. Perform cost benefit evaluations of current or projected spending plans; analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of resource allocations in meeting established agency goals and objectives Collect and evaluate financial data and other information concerning expenditures and revenues to determine budget requirements; draft long-range budgets, and provide justifications for requested funding levels and execution Track and analyze the PPBE cycle as it relates to the operating budget.  Assist with the coordination of the Budget Estimate Submission/Program and Budget (BES/PB) submission.  Research and liquidate un-liquidated obligations. Develop execution and obligation briefings.  Track expenditures in approved funds tracker.



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study required.
  • 8 years DOD Budget and Finance required.
  • 3 years of full spectrum experience with Defense Agency Initiative Financial System Required. 
  • Experience with data extraction and analysis of various financial databases.
  • Experience with industry-standard financial tools and systems.
  • Experience with creation of DoD PPBE and budget.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong writing skills Ability to perform analysis and research relative to specific tasks.
  • TS Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.


  • 10 - 15 years of Federal Government and Finance desired.
  • Budget or Financial certifications highly desired
  • Master's Degree in Finance, Business desired
