Responsibilities

E3  Federal Solutions, LLC seeks a SharePoint Analyst to join our team in support of our homeland security federal government client - the Department of Homeland Security - Federal Protective Services.

 

  • Conducts data analytics to examine raw data, with the purpose of drawing conclusions about that information.
  • Works directly with leadership team members on a regular basis.
  • Sorts through huge data sets using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access to identify undiscovered data patterns and establishes hidden relationships.
  • Develops reports to demonstrate business trends and make inferences that assist the client in a decision making process. Performs content management - collection, managing, and publishing of information on the SharePoint website portal. Supports the collection and review of assessments and reports and reports and analyzes findings through the production of periodic and ad hoc workforce reports.
  • Performs data analysis, dashboards and reports development, technical reviewing and editing, and project support. Implements high quality, scalable and effective SharePoint solutions to support various organizational requirements, using SharePoint 2010 or newer, including workflow and content management.
  • As a SharePoint Designer- creates pages and uses web parts, including data, content, and supporting services {specifically in MS Excel, MS Access and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)}.
  • Creates sophisticated formulas in MS Access and MS Excel, to perform data analyses.
  • Develops and modifies Dashboards (web pages which collate information about the business - a series of graphics, charts, gauges and other visual indicators that are monitored and interpreted), and develops and manipulates forms and reports with MS Access and MS Excel. Exports and imports data to and from MS Excel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or commensurate work experience) and 10 years of relevant professional work experience
  • Possess proficient working experience with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)
  • Extensive working knowledge and experience using SharePoint 2010 or newer, including performing workflow and content management Experience with using SharePoint as a Designer - creating pages and using web parts, including data, content, and supporting services {specifically MS Excel, MS Access and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)}
  • Proficient user with MS Word, Excel and Access
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills - both oral and written
  • Possess experience with researching and writing technical reports
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities with competing deadlines
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to apply them efficiently in order to solve problems
  • Must be a critical thinker who can contribute to challenging assignments in a fast-paced work office environment
  • Possess strong decision making skills and maintains calmness under tight pressure.
  • Plans well and prioritizes work Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Effectively interacts with employees at all levels of the organization.
