Responsibilities

E3 Federal Solutions, LLC seeks an Access Control Specialist to greet and process visitors and employees through the Campus Visitor Center for  our federal government homeland security client, the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Services (FPS).

 

This position is located on 2700 and 2701 Martin Luther King, Jr., Avenue (SE) and 1100 Alabama Avenue, Southeast (SE) , Washington, DC.

 

This position works during the following hours: 5 AM – 1:30 PM.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for verifying the visitor;s/employee;s identity against a HSPD-12 Compliant ID or a Real ID Act Compliant ID, issuing appropriate visitor or temporary employee ID badges, issuing visitor parking passes, utilizing the Passage Point Visitor Management System, and performing other duties as they relate to access control and physical security.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Create and issue Campus ID Badges to authorized persons in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Answer telephone and electronic emails as they pertain to assigned duties
  • Conduct records keeping associated with assigned duties Operate IT Systems to include National Crime Information Center (NCIC), Identity Management System (IDMS), C-Cure 9000 Access Control Software, Passage Point Visitor Management System, Integrated Security Management System (ISMS), and future IT Systems as they pertain to access control and physical security duties
  • Conduct background checks utilizing the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database to include adjudication of results by utilizing established policies and procedures as they pertain to visit/access control requests
  • Process all visit requests to the campus in line with established policies and procedures and by utilizing Passage Point software and other IT Systems Utilize C-Cure 9000 Access Control Software to assign varying levels of campus access as determined by established policies and procedures
  • Ensure that Foreign National Visitors are properly entered into ISMS and Passage Point in accordance with established policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field 
  • Minimum 18 years of age U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability and a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • Must be able to read, speak and understand the English language, fluently
  • Must possess the ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
  • Must possess impeccable customer service skills
  • Must successfully complete training and perform the duties for a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card Enrollment Official, which includes the utilization of the IDMS database
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
