Responsibilities

E3 is seeking Project Manager(s) and Strategy Consultant(s) to support a federal government client with comprehensive management and strategy consulting services to include analytical, consultative, and operational activities for policy assessment, program evaluation and improvement, organizational development, and communications. The successful candidate must possess knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Federal Agency Organization Performance Management including goal and target setting, measure development, performance reviews, strategic planning, and performance improvement strategies
  • Information Technology and the role of the IT function in large organizations
  • Human Capital and the role of the HC function in large organizations
  • Financial Management and the role of the finance function in large organizations
  • Acquisition Management and the role of the procurement function in large organizations
  • Travel Management including travel policy and programs
  • Shared Services in helping the federal government transform to create a modernized, innovative ecosystem that eliminates redundancy, reduces risk, and leverages government’s buying power
  • Data analytics to provide information and insights to leaders in the interest of improving policy and decision making
  • Federal High-Performance Green Buildings in the field of sustainable real property
  • Evaluation and Sciences to apply findings and methods form the social and behavioral science to help policies, programs, and operations of government

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assess federal policies and provide recommendations to improve policy outcomes
  • Assess federal policies and programs and provide recommendations to improve planning and implementation through assessments, gaps analysis, research, policy analysis, reports, and recommendations
  • Help improve agency functions and customer service through process assessment and redesign
  • Strategic communications to support clear communication of information and priorities to stakeholders inside and outside of Federal government and to build consensus around initiatives and priorities at the program, agency and government-wide levels.
  • Strategy development and implementation

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience performing similar work for federal agencies with a minimum of 2 years management consulting experience in business strategy, organizational design, process reengineering, and/or change management
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Program management and project management experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

Preferred:

  • Experience from top-tier consulting firms highly preferred
