    Position Overview

    We are seeking Contract/Acquisiton professionals to provide pre and post award procurement support for upcoming opportunities within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). 

    Responsibilities

    • Aquisition planning support, such as preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), reviewing proposals for compliance, and assisting with negotiating positions
    • Perform contract administration, including, but not limited to maintaining contract file folders and preparing contact modifications
    • Assist program personnel in the preparation of justifications
    • Facilitating brainstorming sessions
    • Planning, preparation, and hosting of pre-proposal conferences
    • Provide recommendations regarding communication of solicitation planning, status, and results to stakeholders
    • Population of acquisition program web sites
    • Review customer-generated documentation
    • Development of analysis, recommendations, decision, and debriefing documents
    • Assist Contracting Officer in the overseeing of contract performance, as necessary to assure delivery of the supplies or services
    • Assist in the preparation of contract modifications

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of acquisition experience
    • Experience with Federal Government contracting, particularly pre-award and post-award functions
    • Clearable (able to pass both a criminal background check and credit check).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to closely coordinate administration with internal and external stakeholders
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools

     

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree highly desired
    • Active affiliation with acquisition related industry groups highly desired
    • Familiarity with PRISM Contract Management Tool
