Responsibilities

E3 Federal Solutions (E3), a leader in acquisition management, project management, and financial management solutions for the federal government has an opportunity with a federal client in support of communications requirements. Since its inception in 2004, E3 has supported numerous federal agencies with their mission requirements by working closely to help define requirements, develop sound acquisition strategies, justify budget requests, and track project execution.

 

E3 has an exciting opportunity for an Communications Manager to join our existing team supporting the General Services Administration’s (GSA) FEDSIM Program Management Office.  This position will provide operational research and analysis, strategic marketing, branding, stakeholder outreach, press release, and communication support, and process improvement support to a GSA FEDSIM in Washington, DC. The position will work closely with the E3 program manager and senior client program office officials to monitor market trends of federal acquisition create strategic communications, write sharp marketing outreach and success articles for the organization. E3 is seeking individuals that are energetic, forward thinking, with excellent communication skills, ability to be productive with minimal direction, and strong creativity and writing skills.

 

 

 

 

  • Serve as part of the creativity team and focus on developing the FEDSIM brand (a fee for service, assisted acquisition center for the Federal Government) Work products will include; Website, tag lines, social media management, marketing slicks, marketing videos. 
  • Very skilled writer and editor who has experience creating: web content, white/research paper, abstracts, press releases, articles, and blogs 
  • Experience creating editorial calendars and adhering to project timelines
  • Create and implement an effective communications plan for building awareness both internal to FEDSIM employees on the client site and externally to stakeholders (corporations and other government agencies) 
  • Increase GSA FEDSIM’s presence in the marketplace
  • Experience developing content to pitch to external news outlets
  • Experience writing talking points and presentations-Gather proof points and mechanism for storing them for use across the organiztion 
  • Work with operations team (procurement team) to build brand and gain market share.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in related fields such as; Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism
  • 5 – 10 years of operational experience
  • Clearable (able to pass both a criminal background check and credit check)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver a Creative Writing Style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
