Responsibilities

E3 is currently seeking a Research Program Analyst to support the management and execution of basic research efforts within the Office of the Secretary of Defense Research and Engineering community.  Specific tasks will include:

  • Tracking, coordinating, and planning of activities, reports and program information within the office of the Associate Director
  • Assist in developing strategic basic research plans and drafting related documentation for DoD-wide dissemination.
  • Assist in preparing RDT&E Budget Item Justifications and PPBE process documentation.
  • Assist in organizing research reviews, working group meetings, etc. 
  • Support the oversight of software engineering research and development activities.
  • Develop and provide all associated documentation for meeting planning, logistics, scheduling, agenda preparation, report writing and whenever applicable, program and financial activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably supporting the DoD S&T enterprise.
  • Knowledge of the Defense Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) Lifecyle
  • Bachelor's degree in scientific, technical, business management, or related field preferred.
  • Secret #clearance required.
  • Potential for occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel.
