E3 is seeking a Technical Analyst to support a program within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).  Duties include:

  • Producing analytical products, directives, reporting documents, etc. on a variety of technology areas and/or acquisition policy for senior leadership
  • Coordinating, monitoring, and reviewing data call responses to a variety of stakeholders, including senior DoD officials and Congress
  • Providing systems engineering and analysis of technical proposals and make recommendations based on technical feasibility, cost, schedule, and ability to satisfy strategic DoD or military-critical capability gaps
  • Interacting and maintaining collaborative relationships with major stakeholders (e.g., government labs, academia, and industry (foreign and domestic) to identify and execute projects
  • Assisting in the oversight of existing and potential projects, including the identification of issues and formulating mitigation strategies
  • Reviewing and coordinating concepts and requirements for potential projects, including current and emerging technologies
  • Developing program briefs for a variety of audiences and forums, including senior DoD officials, industry events, and academia


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technology or program management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical, or related discipline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, analytical environment
  • Travel may be required, sometimes on short notice
  • TS/SCI Clearance


  • Graduate Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical or related discipline
  • Experience with Department of Defense research infrastructure including laboratories and other research performers
  • Major systems acquisition experience
  • Minimum 1 years operating with the DoD Under Secretary for Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) or other Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) office
