E3 is seeking a Communications Analyst to support a program within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).  Duties include:

  • Supporting the internal and public facing communications strategy for a large research and development organization.
  • Developing collateral marketing material for research programs.
  • Interacting and maintaining collaborative relationships with major stakeholders (e.g., government labs, academia, and industry (foreign and domestic) to identify and execute projects
  • Assisting in the oversight of existing and potential projects, including the identification of issues and formulating mitigation strategies
  • Conducting technical editing activities for technical research documents. 
  • Producing analytical products, directives, reporting documents, etc. for senior leadership.



  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stakeholder communications, technology, and program management
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, analytical environment
  • Experience developing and managing online content
  • Travel may be required, sometimes on short notice
  • SECRET Clearance


  • Graduate Degree in a recognized engineering, scientific, technical or related discipline
  • DoD stakeholder communications experience
  • Experience developing major communications plans for large technical programs
  • One year operating with the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) or similar DoD office
