E3 is seeking a Category Management Analyst to support an upcoming requirement with the General Services Administration Category Management/Strategic Sourcing initiative.


  • Individual will perform as a business analyst supporting category management initiatives for public and private sector clients through all aspects of the CM life-cycle - planning, execution, and measurement.
  • Support account and demand management as well as supplier management activities as part of these projects.
  • This role requires strong data analytics skills as well as knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing practices.
  • Since this is a new initiative in the public sector, strong communication and change management skills are also necessary.
  • Support the development and validation of detailed "As is" and "To be" business process maps to facilitate requirements identification
  • Conduct data analysis and support process modeling
  • Assist in validating business requirements with stakeholder group
  • Track progress of project activities relative to base-lined milestones outlined in detailed work plans
  • Support data gathering and analysis




  • Experience in category management, including spend analysis, strategic planning, account/demand management, supplier management, data analytics, performance management/benchmarking, change management and communications.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 plus years in federal consulting field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working and building relationships with clients and stakeholders
